
Maggie Piellusch
ARTELUXE FOUNDER & CEO
Maggie Piellusch is an artist and arts administrator who has been based in Detroit for over a decade, working at the intersection of creative practice, cultural stewardship, and nonprofit infrastructure. She founded ARTELUXE as an arts consulting studio dedicated to connecting artists and arts organizations with opportunities, resources, and sustainable pathways for growth.

Piellusch brings extensive experience in gallery management, collections management, and art exhibition installation, having worked with major cultural institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) and the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA). Her institutional background is complemented by a deep engagement with artist-led and community-based spaces, allowing her to navigate both formal and grassroots arts ecosystems with fluency and care.

An active advocate for artists and cultural workers, Piellusch is committed to supporting nonprofit arts organizations, DIY art spaces, and artist collectives throughout Detroit and beyond. Her work emphasizes ethical collaboration, equitable access to resources, and the long-term sustainability of creative communities. Through ARTELUXE, she partners with artists, curators, and organizations to strengthen artistic visibility, organizational capacity, and meaningful cultural impact.

Currently in her final semester at Wayne State University, Maggie will graduate with a Master of Arts in Arts Administration in May 2026, as well as acquiring the experience and credentials toward CFRE accreditation as part of a long-term commitment to strengthening ethical, effective fundraising practices in the nonprofit sector.
